WONDERFUL YOUNG PEOPLE AT WORKSHOP
Tepebaşı Municipality İbrahim Ethem Kesikbas Assembly Workshop, the youngsters who made great wonders and visited everybody, visited Ay Plastik Plant and saw the production of the parts they assembled.
The mentally retarded individuals working at the workshop came to the factory with the invitation of Ay Plastik, Chairman of the Board of Directors Kazım Ay and watched the production process of the parts.
Visiting Tepebaşı Dt. Ahmet Ataç and Republican People’s Party Eskisehir deputy Utku Çakırözer did not leave the young people alone, and then they ate lunch with the workers working at the factory. During the visit, factory workers showed great interest in disabled youth.Since its inception, İbrahim Ethem Kesikbas Parliament, which is the hope for mentally disabled individuals and their families in Eskişehir, is on the forefront in a short time with success.The 38 disabled individuals in this center combine pieces from the factories in the Organize Industrial Zone to improve their physical skills as well as their social content.People with disabilities are installing parts from factories such as lower hinges, adjustable feet, fan motor, corner protector, tension cover, drainage bed and body, odor filter, rail, door stopper, water tank and filter.
People with disabilities working at the center also perform a variety of activities at the same time. Those who participate in the modeling event on Fridays are doing sports on Mondays and Wednesdays.They alsoenjoy ceramics, glass and marbles at the Skill and Art Workshop in Live Village.At the physiotherapy center, movements to improve the use of hand and finger exercises and other limbs are regularly performed in the presence of a physical therapist.Educational studies aim at establishing social relations at the basic level and facilitating the lives of their families. They learn mathematics at a basic level to be able to write the names of people around themselves and around them.
